December 15, 2005

Happy Holidays to all! and to all Peace on Earth. Welcome to the last column of the year and thanks for stopping by.

I've gone home already once in the last month and I leave again in just a few days. This should be the last time for quite a while, but it's made me think of this song that truly must have been written about your's truly.

Old 97s, Won't be home Chorus:

I was born in the backseat of a mustang
on a cold night in the pouring rain
and the very first song that the radio sang
It was "I won't be home no more"

So actually it was a Maverick and not a Mustang, but it was raining and well, under 80 is cold right?

I've ordered a stage piano and am starting to take lessons. Anna is taking guitar and Rebekah is taking Banjo as often as she can. We'll be touring next December so it'll be tough to get in touch with us. I'll keep posting on the site though not to worry, I might even have some samples.

Yeah, it's much more likely that we'll be right here posting our painted mini D&D figures.

The holidays are here! Relax, drink the nog, bake the cookies, cuddle and send me gifts. Simple.
